Oreston Bowls Club have raised funds for the Chestnut Appeal in memory of their members who passed away at the beginning of the year.
A Memorial Cup Day was staged by the club in memory of Tony Hill and the event raised £200 for the charity. The club has decided to hold a similar event each year to benefit different charities.
The club, which meets at Dean Cross Road in Plymstock between April and October welcomes ladies and gentlemen of all ages and abilities to take part in outdoor bowling.
