A major UK tour of Anne-Marie Casey’s stage adaptation of Little Women has been announced and Concludes at theatre Royal Plymouth from 17-21st June 2025.
The Stage Production of Little Women has a strong lineup of familiar names from popular series such as Foyle’s War (Honeysuckle Weeks), Call the Midwife (Jack Ashton), Sister Boniface Mysteries (Belinda Lang) and Grace Molony’s role in the historical comedy The Great which was sadly cancelled in its third season despite critical acclaim and 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Anne-Marie Casey’s adaptation of Little Women draws from her extensive experience as a screenwriter, novelist and playwright with successes in Film and TV as a producer and has experience bringing literary classics to the stage, including stage productions of Wuthering Heights and Tess. This version of Little Women offers a captivating rendition of Little Women that breathes new life into a cherished classic.
Directed by Loveday Ingram, The production stays true to the novel’s Civil War-era setting but reminds us that its core message about women forging their own paths and defying societal expectations which are as relevant today as ever.
The tour opens at Coventry Belgrade Theatre before traveling across the UK, concluding its run at Plymouth Theatre Royal from 17–21 June 2025.
With its talented cast and expert direction, this adaptation of Little Women is set to be a highlight of the theatrical calendar.
