Devon dairy producer, Langage Farm, has secured a triumphant “Magnificent Seven” awards haul at the prestigious Food Drink Devon Annual Awards 2025 gala
Held at Sandy Park, home of the Exeter Chiefs, the event celebrated the absolute best of the county’s food and drink scene, and Langage Farm cemented its position as one of the region’s top producers.
The company proudly took home two Platinum, three Gold, and two Silver Awards, underscoring its commitment to both traditional Devon heritage and modern innovation.
The Platinum Winners
The top honours, the coveted Platinum Awards, went to two quintessential classics:
- Langage Farm’s Traditional Devonshire Clotted Cream
- Langage Farm’s Clotted Cream Vanilla Ice Cream
The company’s Gold Awards showcased their variety and partnerships, recognizing the indulgent chocolate and orange ganache (part of the M&S Food Collection), the unique thunder and lightning ice cream, and the specially selected mango and passionfruit farmhouse yoghurt (exclusively sold through Aldi). Silver Awards were secured for the M&S chocolate ganache and the cherry farmhouse yoghurt.
The Carbon Neutral Achievement
This success story is about more than just taste; it’s about pioneering sustainability. Langage Farm, which began producing its first pot of cream in the early 1980s, remains a proud family business, continuing a strong Devon farming tradition.
Crucially, Langage Farm is also the UK’s first carbon neutral dairy farm. This combination of cherished heritage and cutting-edge environmental responsibility makes their victory particularly noteworthy.
