An evening of music, poetry and performance is being held in aid of the families and communities affected by the tragedy in Keyham.
The Plymouth Together fundraising gig will take place on November 26 at The Junction pub on Mutley Plain. Admission will cost £5 on the door, with all proceeds going to the Plymouth Together Recovery Fund, co-ordinated by the Wolseley Trust.
The evening’s entertainment, which kicks off at 7.30pm, will feature sets from local bands, including The Busketeers, Tailfin, and acclaimed Cornish singer Ezmay Grace, while spoken word and poetry will also be performed by the likes of former Plymouth laureate Thom Boulton and Plymouth arts collective WonderZoo founder Peter Davey.
Event organiser Sam Blackledge said:
“The awful tragedy in Keyham affected everybody in Plymouth. We hope this event can play a small part in helping the families of the victims, and all of those who are still recovering and trying to process what happened.
“We are very grateful to The Junction for providing an excellent venue for the gig, as well as the local acts who have generously agreed to come and support with their art.”
