Nominate bravery with The Family Law Company and win a luxury stay

South West family law specialist The Family Law Company is looking for stories of everyday bravery – with the chance for one nominee to enjoy a luxury stay at Bovey Castle & Spa.

The company is asking for nominations from members of the public who know someone who has shown bravery in their lives.

“If you listen closely enough lots of people have a story about having to find their courage at different times in their lives but it often goes unnoticed.

“We want to celebrate more examples of this type of bravery. Not the ‘superhero’ type of bravery, but bravery that is part of everyday life.”

Each nomination will be considered by an independent panel which will choose the story that stands out most to them, plus two runners up.

The top nominee will enjoy an exceptional two-night stay at Bovey Castle, together with a choice of extras, perhaps a session at the hotel’s Elan Spa & Studio or a round on the hotel’s 18-hole Championship golf course, making this a really special experience. Two further nominees will receive beautiful hampers from Bespoke and Local, crammed with locally sourced treats to spoil themselves with.

To illustrate the idea of everyday bravery, The Family Law Company has created a series of short films featuring individuals who have shown courage in the face of a variety of life challenges.

Topics include surviving domestic abuse, overcoming language barriers, living with extreme post-natal depression and pursuing a successful career after having a stroke at the age of just 28. Each story carries a positive message showing how being courageous has helped the person to get through.

To nominate someone who has been brave in any capacity, large or small, in their lives, visit the company’s website and choose the Everyday Bravery tab, where there is also a link to the films on YouTube.

Nominations close on January 31 2025 and the results will be announced in early February.
