Plymouth Albion lit up Brickfields on Saturday with a ten-try masterclass that left Dings Crusaders chasing shadows and 1800 home fans roaring with delight.
After a frustrating away defeat last week, Albion promised a response and delivered it in spectacular fashion, running out 64–17 winners in one of the most dominant performances of the season.
“We worked hard this week to make amends and do the crowd proud,”
said Rhys Williams ahead of the match.

First Half: Albion Find Their Rhythm
The visitors struck first through Max Rivers, converted by Lewis O’Grady for an early 7–0 lead. But Brickfields soon found its voice when Bobby Wigginton darted through on the left and Frankie Dart levelled the scores with the boot.
Moments later, Shea Cornish added another, and Harry Wilkinson’s powerful run over the line gave Albion a 19–12 lead at the break.
It was the perfect response after a bruising week, with fast, physical rugby and a clear attacking intent.
Second Half: Ten Tries, Total Dominance
Dings struck first after the restart, but that only sparked Albion into another gear.
Dan Pullinger, Jack Oulton and Frankie Dart all crossed within fifteen minutes, with Dart faultless from the tee. The crowd, the largest of the season, could sense something special unfolding.
Substitute Oscar Beckerleg kept the pressure on before Angus Hodges and Harry Legg raced down the right flank for near-identical tries.
With the game already wrapped up, Shea Cornish added his second and Nuffield Health Player of the Match Ben Moa received a standing ovation as he left the field.

“Fair play to Dings first half, I think they made the contact area a bit of a fight and they scored some decent tries.
Said Head Coach Ryan Lamb.
“I thought we reacted fantastically coming out after half-time, [we were] much more physical, got ourselves in some really good positions, played some really good rugby and scored ten tries at home, it’s obviously a positive.
“We’re ecstatic about that but we know we’ve got two more games left before the break with Tonbridge and Birmingham Moseley back here, so it just keeps on rolling.”

Albion travel to Tonbridge Juddians next weekend before returning to Brickfields under the lights for a Halloween special against Birmingham Moseley on Friday 25 October.
