The Plymouth Centurions return to the Coliseum this Saturday, August 30th, for a crucial National Trophy showdown against the Kent Eagles.
After a strong run of recent form, the team is looking to continue their momentum and climb the league standings in front of their home crowd.
Team captain Joe Thompson is eager to get back on the track, stating,
“It will be great to be back in front of our home crowd this Saturday with the Centurions. Hopefully we continue our strong run of form and push further up the National Trophy table. It would be great to see as many fans there as possible.”

The main event kicks off when the tapes go up at 7:00 p.m, promising 15 heats of high-octane, competitive racing. The last home meeting was a nail-biter, with the Plymouth Gladiators securing a narrow 46-44 victory over the Berwick Bandits. The result was a significant one, as it ended the Bandits’ hopes of making the Cab Direct Championship play-offs.
The Gladiators started strong, building a ten-point lead, but the Berwick team fought back fiercely to force a last-heat decider. The race came down to a thrilling showdown between Plymouth’s Nicolai Klindt and Scott Nicholls and Berwick’s dominant Danish duo, Jonas Jeppesen and Peter Kildemand.
