Plymstock Bowling Club’s Saturday Evening Quiz Night, on July 24, got off to a great start.
Vera Price, club captain for the 2019-2020 Bowls Season presented a cheque for £3100 to representatives of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
The sum of money, donated by club members and friends, was even more appreciated by Guide Dogs for the Blind as it was collected when the club had very little playing time, or fund-raising events due to COVID-19 restrictions.
