KF Kitchens joined the masses of Macmillan supporters in September as they held their first coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support Charity.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event, inviting people, organisations and businesses to host their own coffee morning.
KF Kitchens, who are based in Farady Mill joined in the fun, raising a total of more than £560 from cake sales and a raffle. Raffle prizes included small Bosh appliances, Quooker glass, Neff mugs, cookbooks and aprons, and much more.
As well as these prizes, clients of KF Kitchens also kindly donated items for the raffle, including home made jams, biscuits, a fruit bowl and a cake designed and made by Cakes by Kate. Another local business owner donated a signed Plymouth Argyle football, which was a very welcome donation.
It was a great day for friends, family and clients to get together to enjoy some home cooked cakes, coffee and a chat, all for a worthy cause.
