Mama Meets, based in Plymouth, Devon, provides a monthly space for mothers to connect, support each other, and enjoy food at various venues.
The initiative was founded by Carol in March 2021, after the birth of her second son during the final month of the UK lockdown
Initially starting with mama and baby yoga sessions and small coffee dates, Mama Meets has grown into regular meet-ups. These events offer opportunities for local mum-led businesses to showcase products such as handmade clothing, pre-loved knits, and macramé.

Along with an experienced midwife, Carol has also set up ‘meet the midwife’ – monthly antenatal education talks covering topics from pregnancy, birth and beyond alongside friendship, tea and cake.
