The Great Escape at St Budeaux and Barne Barton Wellbeing Hub gives the opportunity for men to get involved, learn new skills and meet like minded individuals in a friendly and supportive environment.
If you’re looking for a way to improve your mental health or just searching for a new hobby, the Great Escape open day offers the opportunity at the St Budeaux and Barne Barton Wellbeing Hub. This gardening group, specifically designed for men’s mental health, blends the therapeutic power of nature with the benefits of social interaction in a safe, supportive space. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, the Great Escape welcomes you.
“We would like to thank the North Yard Community Trust who are funding the continuation of this project.”
This men’s mental health activities group is a safe space to be a man. Helping to build self-esteem, self-confidence and develop support networks.
Spending time connecting to nature and socialising can have amazing benefits. It can help to improve your mental health, general wellbeing and reduce potential health risks.
We welcome you to come along on Thursday 10th October 2024, Worlds Mental Health Day, to meet the team, take a tour of the grounds, and enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee.”
