St Luke’s Hospice has had a boost to its funds after the Plympton Chamber presented them with a cheque for nearly £1,140 at their regular breakfast networking event on October 9.
A formal presentation cheque was handed to Nikki Kean of St Luke’s Hospice. The money was raised at September’s ‘Big Breakfast’ which was hosted by Plympton Chamber and was in conjunction with Plymouth Business Network, Network Plymouth, the Six O ’Clock Club and Down to Business, all getting together to support this worthy cause.
Plympton Chamber spokesperson Stella Goodman said:
“As a Chamber we are pleased to support local charities and are happy to work together to bring benefits to the local community.
“The Chamber is now focusing on Light Up Plympton, which will see a Christmas Fair in Ridgeway and the switch on of the town’s Christmas lights on November 26.”
