If you enjoy singing and have been thinking about joining a choir, then Plymouth’s Clarion Male Voice Choir would like to hear from you.
The four part choir has its origin in the Devonport Dockyard, being started up when a couple of lads sang at a social get-together. That was over 100 years ago!
Ladies are an extremely important part of the choir with musical director Catherine (right) and Olga, their accomplished pianist and cello player.
The choir comprises tenors, baritones and bass and could do with an additional ‘Louis Armstrong’ type voice in the bass section!
The Choir practices every Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the Methodist Church Hall, Crownhill.
