Plymouth Albion made it eight wins on the bounce with a dominant 41–10 victory over Rosslyn Park at Brickfields, strengthening their grip at the top of National League 1.
Despite testing conditions, Albion were in control from the outset. Iwan Jenkins opened the scoring with an early converted try and added two first-half penalties to give the hosts a 13–3 lead at the break.
The second half belonged entirely to Albion. Hooker Louie Gulley powered over from close range before winger Frankie Dart finished superbly in the corner to secure the bonus point, with Jenkins converting from the touchline.
Sustained pressure told as Albion forced a penalty try following a dominant maul, with Rosslyn Park reduced to 14 men for the third time. Although the visitors crossed once through Luke Mehson, Albion had the final say as Gulley added his second try of the afternoon to seal a commanding 41–10 win.
Loosehead prop Jenson Boughton was named Man of the Match after a standout performance in the scrum and around the park, underlining Albion’s forward dominance.
The result keeps Plymouth Albion clear at the summit of National League 1 as they prepare to travel to Dings Crusaders next weekend, aiming to extend both their unbeaten run and their lead at the top.
